Step back in time at The George, this old fashioned country Inn has a quaint and welcoming family atmosphere.
Food is served all day, every day, from breakfasts to evening meals.
Breakfast is served daily from 9.00am – 12.00 noon with a selection of traditional Full English, Vegetarian Breakfast or Breakfast Baps to choose from.
Every Sunday from 12.00 noon to 8.00pm you can join us for a delicious freshly prepared Carvery, with crispy roast potatoes, Yorkshire puddings, stuffing and a selection seasonal vegetables, choose from £16.50 or a large plate for £19.
If you prefer, you can choose from our bistro menu and enjoy an informal dining experience without compromising food quality or service. The restaurant has been refurbished and with a contemporary ambiance that is a must for any occasion.
Another main asset of the George is its large beer garden, split into two sections of peaceful riverside area and the new, large children’s play ground where there are plenty of benches for you to relax.
