Managers/Duty Manager

This is an exciting opportunity for an energetic and driven hospitality professionals looking to make a career move. The position requires someone who is capable of working under pressure and juggling many responsibilities including providing fantastic customer service.

Managing the smooth day to day running of the front of house operations with a hands on approach and the ability to lead and motivate your team. You must have proven track record of running busy food led pubs.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Managing, training and building a strong team
  • Reservations management & Organisation of functions
  • Good cellar skills along with good kitchen/hygiene management
  • Identification of marketing or business opportunities, maximisation of sales
  • Management of key performance indicators eg wastage, gross profit etc
  • Social media management
  • Financial management including cashing up

Essential Qualities

  • An uncompromising attention to detail
  • A dedication to service and putting the guest first
  • Have the ability to turn your hand to a shift in the kitchen when required
  • A focused interest in people and their development and experience of delivering training
  • Working knowledge of all relevant licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
  • Good financial understanding and a hands on approach to sorting out the issues
